Outfit inspirations and ideas: Ethnic Influences

Finally!. Here's an outfit inspirations/ideas blog post guys! I know y'all missed this kind of blog post so I'm bringing it back again. I think the last time I did this kind of post is way back 2011 pa ata (the days where I don't know what to blog about and how I want my blog to be). So I'm just happy doing this kind of post again with a much better vision.
In this post I'm going to show you guys how to rock this season's new/fresh trend; the "Ethnic trend". Designers/brands like Missoni, E. tautz, Jean Paul Gaultier, Bottega Veneta and Yohji Yamamoto showcased this trend in their SS13 collection. Personally I think this is totally different from the Aztec trend because with this trend we are taking inspirations from different cultures such as Native Americans, India, the far east, tribes etc. Earth tone colors, rough textures, different kinds of prints, patterns and loose pants are the key pieces to achieve this trend.

So here's some outfit ideas on how can you rock this trend without looking like you're wearing a costume.

Marc by Marc Jacobs shirt/Topman shorts/Bottega Veneta shoes/Cutler and Gross Sunglasses/multi aztec woven belt.

Try playing with different kind of earth tone colors just like what I did on this look. I paired this cool Marc by Marc Jacobs shirt to this Topman shorts plus I added this aztec woven belt for that extra ethnic umf! and this gorgeous Bottega Veneta leather slippers.

J. Crew Knitted cotton crew neck shirt/Folk tuck ribbed knitted prima cotton sweater/ Bottega Veneta slim fit pants/Jimmy Choo shoes/ LV book with LV case.

Now in this look, obviously the Jimmy Choo shoes is screaming Ethnic!, so you don't need (for me) to paired it with another paisley or baroque print top. Just play with textures, since textures is one of the key pieces in this trend.

Alexander Mcqueen printed cardigan/Oliver Spencer slim-fit shorts/Dolce and Gabbana derby shoes/ Gucci full grain leather and canvas pouch/Gucci belt

In this look, I keep it graphic and ethnic by playing with colors and prints. Inspired by African flags, the three colors Red, yellow and green which looks very ethnic and cultural.

Wolverine cream jumper, triangle print short sleeve knitted t-shirt and woven aztec shorts all from Topman/shoes from Mark MC Nairy/ Paul Smith Belt.

Now in this look, I decided to go all out with ethnic inspired prints.
