Lookbook spotlight: Domingo Rodriguez Spring/Summer 2014

While browsing and looking through the latest lookbooks and ad campaigns of fashion designers around the world, this lookbook I think stands out the most because of its striking, powerful, genius and cutting edge pieces. I guess my love for over the top prints is over "well not totally over, but my love for it is not 100% anymore" and now as I build my new personal style, I'm dying over minimal pieces that I think I can wear for the next 5 or maybe 10 years "it never goes out of style", just like what Domingo Rodriguez did on his latest spring/summer 2014 collection

The whole collection is very refreshing, with a clean color palette and a pop of color. I love the materials used in this collection like leather, knits, soft jersey, quilted silk georgette, etc. The headwear is very fabulous, it adds a classy attitude in every look.

About the designerLondon based menswear designer, Domingo graduated from Liverpool John Moore's University in 2008 and won the Menswear Award at Graduate Fashion Week. He then went on to secure the Harold Tillman Scholarship for his MA at London College of Fashion. His SS11 collection was presented during Paris Fashion week June 2010 as one of Esquire Magazines "7 Brilliant Brits." Domingo cut his teeth interning for Kim Jones; Carolyn Massey, Roland Muret and has successfully collaborated with Asos.com, PHI-NOM leather, Kopenhagen and Saga Furs
