Epic!, It's so hard to dressed to the nines here in Manila especially this summer season. Well, I live in a tropical country so expect that it will be mostly  hot and sunny through out the year but the heat is ten times hotter during summer season (hindi naman ten times, haha O.A naman!). That's why I quite (medyo lang naman) hate attending events that are held in daytime especially afternoon "yung tipong mga 2:00 p.m, haggard sa paglalakad sa mainit na kalsada! hahah", since I'm a button down shirt + fitted trousers type of guy when attending events; "yeah! inaamin ko mainit nga pag ganoong outfit hhaha".

So to resolve this problem of mine; I searched for the most comfortable pieces in my wardrobe that I can wear and after 3 minutes of searching I got a white tee, an acid washed shorts and this super comfy "parang naka paa lang haha!" Toms shoes. So these are the items that I'm super comfortable wearing, now how can I give this look an extra umf! "para di naman ako mag mukhang bibili lang ng suka sa tindahan" by adding a bold and bright blazer! for that pop of color into this whole outfit also it adds a vibrant/happy aura "since summer na! forever pasok ang mga bright color pieces".

Antony Morato Brand Launch @Hyve

Metro Manila—One of Italy’s fastest-growing menswear brands, Antony Morato (AM), is breaking the Philippines’ fashion world wide open with six distinct collections. Each collection takes its inspiration from iconic aspects of men’s fashion, from the rustic outdoors to the suave vibrancy of Asian street wear. The country’s sartorial gurus now have a wide range of looks to work with, each one encouraging them to create their own signature styles.

ALARM CALL

Stylish, sophisticated, yet ultimately relaxed, Alarm Call adds a touch of revolutionary edge to a deconstructed aesthetic. Russian propaganda motifs are stamped onto jersey cotton tees layered under coats, sweaters, and trousers with simple silhouettes. Distressed plums, olives, and burnt oranges bring their working-class spirit to the collection’s rich palette, urging customers to rise up and take control of their looks.

LESS IS MORE

Minimalism takes on renewed vigor with Less is More, a provision of well-tailored menswear staples. Striped cardigans and basic t-shirts and trousers provide a versatile dimension to everyday apparel, while sleek dinner jackets in muted white, gray, and maroon tones take each outfit from day to night with classic appeal. The mood is one of elegance and sophistication, proving that tried-and-tested fashion favorites do withstand the test of time.

T.G.I.Friday's Event

plain white shirt / Diy acid washed shorts / Toms

Here's my blogger off duty look, a nice white v-neck shirt paired with acid washed shorts and top it off with a comfy and classic pair of toms. Since its summer, instead of a white shirt why not go for a pastel or bold colored shirt "para feel na feel mo lalo ang summer!" .

Candle light dinner at Hyatt Hotel and Casino Manila

As a gesture of support, the hotel is turning off exterior lights and minimising non-essential lighting in all public areas and offices, as well as stopping the escalator for an hour.  To add a touch of charm to this event, a romantic candlelit dinner experience awaits diners in all the outlets, especially at The Fireplace where premium steak and wine is the main draw. Guests can also enjoy Room Service in an evening picnic setting with the family in their own room, as well as being pampered at the candlelit Spa at Club Oasis.  Aside from these activities, all in-house guests are urged to participate by reducing their power usage during this hour.

A limited-edition offer at the Pastry Boutique throughout March allows guests to go the extra mile in saving the earth by purchasing a pair of panda cupcakes for only P400 net, with a P60 donation to the World Wildlife Fund and Earth Hour for every pair sold.  Inspired by the World Wildlife Fund mascot, they are made of a chocolate cupcake base with coconut cake and Oreo biscuits, offering a triple treat of luscious goodness.

Dimming the lights on 23 March is not only an exciting tradition at Hyatt Hotel and Casino Manila, it’s also an opportunity to experience the hotel and restaurants in a different light.

HYATT HOTEL AND CASINO MANILA SUPPORTS EARTH HOUR

weeeee! Summer vacation already started and I'm definitely feeling the vibe of a happy, carefree teen. I remember the movie that I watched last year "I think it was December", a movie about a girl who wants to make the most out of her summer, so to achieve that; she created a list of  awesome things to do this summer but things went wrong "really wrong" (nakakaloka! panuorin niyo na lang yung movie sa movie2k, nakakatamad mag kwento hahha, oh ito title "Judy Moddy and the not bummer summer").

Moving on, I wore this light and comfortable outfit yesterday to help my friend in his online shop's lookbook. I was assigned to do the fashion editorial video, since I'm good in doing those things (haha self proclaimed lang?!). It was a long tiring 8 hours for me and to the models but it was all worth it, adore the pictures and I'm still not editing the video haha!. After I edit the video, promise I will post it here in my blog (diba para malaman niyo kung gaano ako kagaling! hahaha jooooke baka mag-expect kayo ng mataas sa akin! hahaha).

Women’s Wednesday Sale at SM Supermalls

This is what I wore to an event at The Fort last Thursday "Garage Magazine's Young Talents Party". The theme of the party was camo/military, so instead of going for camo all the way  I decided to channel German Nazi's color flag which is black and red and I paired it with a black button down sleeves with camo details on the pocket and on the collar which I do it myself "I was really having a hard time thinking what to wear for this party since I don't have any camo/military outfits in my wardrobe, so I bought a camo fabric and put it on the sleeves and on the collar of my shirt and voila!".

Blue is the color of the season.
Create a casual and modern style in a mix of indigo, denim and navy hues.

I don't know why people's always first impression to me is snobbish, I'm not snobbish maybe it's just my eyes that sometimes tend to look evil "hahaha". I'm a very friendly person, like I always give back the smile that people gave me.You know guys sometimes I'm just shy to make the first move because I'm used to people always approaching me or making the first move maybe that's the reason why people even my friends first impression to me was this snobbish guy wearing oxford shoes "haha kelangan may oxford shoes?!!". So if you see me just say Hi, I will definitely reply back and give you a great big SMILE :D.

Pierre Cardin Spring/Summer 2013 Campaign

Blazers and button downs are one of my wardrobe essentials. My life would not be complete without these two pieces of clothing in my wardrobe or should I say an outfit would not be complete without wearing any of these two. Since I live in a tropical country I prefer Cotton Blazers because it is easily washable, absorbs moisture of the body, its light and skin can breathe properly even though you're wearing a blazer, that is why a lot of people wear clothes made up of cotton most of the time.

When we are talking about colors of the fabric, Pastel are perfect for tropical countries and summer season because light colors tend to reflect heat instead of absorbing. It will eventually keep your body relatively cooler. Pastels, Beige and white are ideal colors in this case.

Go invest in Pastels this summer, it can do wonders for all of your looks once the sun begins to shine. Since summer is fast approaching here in Philippines, I think this is the best way to wear this kind of clothing (instead of wearing your usual summer look "tank top, shorts, and topsiders") and I suggest that you paired it with a knee length shorts and make it sure to pair them with more neutral pieces to give your look balance and help ground the the bolder blue.

Clothingloves.net offers stylish pieces for stylish guys and now my favorite online shop.
