I love what's happening in the menswear industry right now. More and more designers are starting to shape and give new meanings to the whole idea of male power dressing. That's why I only admire designers who thinks out of the box, always challenge himself/herself and set trends by creating unique and powerful pieces. I remember when Jean Paul Gaultier shocked the whole fashion industry way back 1984, by showcasing man-skirt: knee-length kilts, silky scarf tunics "pantskirts". Gaultier is credited being the first modern designer to send skirts for men down the runway in 1984 and now, more and more designers are starting to create a new era and revolution in the menswear industry.
We all know that crop tops are generally being sported only by girls but the whole only women can wear crop tops instantly changed when I saw it hitting down the runway of Astrid Andersen, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein's menswear collection. Also Kid Cudi and Kanye West were spotted sporting this trend.
