I was so stoked when I received this shirt with stylish gold details "Mandala" from a talendted fashion design student Wilson Niñofranco Limon. I'm so impressed that he incorporated a Mandala design in a shirt, making this plain black shirt a lot more interesting. I remember when my professor in my art theory subject told me that Monks create sand mandala as a healing art form, and I was totally blown away with the whole idea/concept behind of it. After a ceremonial blessing, the monks began the process of making the mandala, the work usually takes them 4 weeks to finish (depending on how intricate the design), when a mandala sand painting is finished, it is swept up and deposited in the nearest body of flowing water, as a metaphor of life's impermanence and learning to easily let go of beautiful things.
