Bali vibes at Casa Luminaria

If there is one Island in the world that I would love to visit next year, definitely Bali, Indonesia. I've been seeing the beauty of that place from the people that I'm following on Instagram and articles written by some of my blogger friends and influencers over and over. According to my friends, Bali is so serene that you will never want to leave that place ever. Tho Bali didn't cost that much compared to other places in the world (unless you stay in a very exclusive and luxurious hotel in Bali). But you don't have to go all the way to Bali just to experience its relaxing and in-tact with nature feels, you can experience a little bit of Bali vibes for only 2 hours away from the city.

Me and my blogger friends headed out to Casa Luminaria in Lipa, Batangas to unwind and get away from the hectic and stressful life in the city for awhile. My good friend Ave of avelovinit.com organized the whole trip, coz she also thinks that we badly needed a break from the blogging life just a little bit.

Casa Luminaria was originally built as a family provincial home. A stones throw away from the  Metro, where they could go on weekends to detox from the stress and heavy traffic of Manila. Lipa was the perfect destination for this. When they first designed and built Casa, they wanted to embody the design aesthetic of a rural Filipino home. They used Ventanilas from Bacolod, planks from old Ilocos homes, reclaimed capiz windows, primitiive beds, and colored glass. Though rural, they also made sure to keep the comfort of a modern home. Their main house have an open plan lanai, spacious powder room, modern kitchen, and a wrap around deck with hammocks and loungers. In their sleep cottages, nipa in style are situated around the 3 hectare property.  All built to hold family of four and room for 2 more extra beds. All their cottagess have air conditioning and has its own private bath. They have a bath house close to the pool, the dining cottage, and grill hut.
